The other option is a pre-workout sweetened with an artificial sweetener (which may also lead to increased blood sugar and fewer ketones (again defeating the purpose) of taking a pre-workout for weight loss - Sucralose.
For some people, Sucralose may raise blood sugar and insulin levels.
It may also damage the bacterial environment in your gut, but this needs to be studied in humans.
For the past 14-months, I have been working on a Pre-Workout drink that:
- Contains the necessary Branch-Chain Amino Acids (BCAA) needed to build and repair muscle
- Contains 5g of Creatine Monohydrate, needed to lower blood glucose and aid in the endurance of muscle during a workout
- Green tea extract for energy
- Tastes great (like punch)
